One of the weakest Christopher Nolan films, but that's not to say that it isn't a good film as Nolan has set himself a ridiculously high bar with Memeno, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Prestige, Inception and Interstellar. I didn’t find the actual crime element of the story very original, or gripping and it completely lacked any depth. Very good film. Pacino his usual amazing self - Robin Williams so creepy it make your hair stand on end. A research chemist comes under personal and professional attack when he decides to appear in a 60 Minutes exposé on Big Tobacco. Worked fine until about three quarters in then froze up. Certain movies will indeed last a life time. A gripping, if conventional, cop-based thriller. Robin Williams and Al Pacino play brilliantly off each other in a tense story. Very good film. This is one of my favourite films starring 2 screen legends in Al Apcino and Robin Williams who are both immense in this film.
