I didn't actually hope that the show would get better and it really didn't. The series is set in Portland, Oregon and was created by John Scott Shepherd. It's similar to modern family but with a bit more of a twist. Season 2 episode 5 and I was totally over the show. Sorry, this site is saying that we need to put more down and I thought there was enough, but I guess this will fill in the rest of what is missing. We will PVR this for sure.

episodes are short 30 mins wished they were longer as this show breezes through time. it deals with challenges in polyamory in a subtle and funny way. Turns out this is one of the best shows I watched in a long time..in 2016 at least. Emma is a domineering, manipulative person who keeps everyone firmly under her thumb by conning them into believing they're actually involved in the decision making.

They don't have sex, but he feels an attraction to her and goes straight home and tells his wife all about it. The whole thing is so unrealistic it makes your whole body cringe. Just binged watched last night. It gets complicated, but like any relationship, there is humor, there is friendship, people get hurt, they make up, & at the end of the day, what matters most is love. I was hooked. And I can't even understand why they find Izzy attractive, or why she finds them sexy.

I suppose there's a morale somewhere, but i haven't been able to grasp it really.
So the solution is obviously to create a throuple. 18 out of 30 found this helpful. Well for this to work without any sex or nudity, you'll need to have some very good characters, but this is where it fails.

The main situation gives a lot of opportunity to show the possible dynamics of polyamory, but it does nothing with the opportunities. 3 people trying to be in a relationship together, trying to make it work "against all odds", but in reality its just 3 people just creating problems for themselves out of nothing really worth mentioning. I don't hate the show. All the actors are so real, even the non-leads are awesome, could be leads in their own right.

Great Cast And really exciting!!! it is little realistic and little cinematic .Priscilla Faia stands out. Thinking Nora Ephron whole time I was watching. 1st of all, I knew the girl who played Izzy looked familiar but had no idea she was Chloe on Rookie Blue.
